Alameda Free Library Summer Program Launches

Prizes include ice cream cones from Tucker's Ice Cream, seed projects and books.

ALAMEDA, CA — Registration is open for the summer reading program through the Alameda Free Library in Alameda, city officials said.

Participants who played last year should register through the account they used last year. The link for new participants is below. The program is open to adults and children.

The first day to play is Tuesday, according to city officials. The last day to register is July 21 and the last day to play is July 31.

Reading and activity completion can be tracked online or with paper game boards. Prizes include ice cream cones from Tucker's Ice Cream, seed projects and books.

Prizes can be picked up at the main library.
