Alameda Police Investigate Shooting
Nearly two dozen bullet casings spanning multiple blocks of the Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway.
ALAMEDA, CA — The Alameda Police Department said Friday it is investigating a report of a shooting near the intersection of Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway and Fifth Street.
Officers responded around midnight Thursday to the area after receiving reports of the shooting. Nearly two dozen bullet casings spanning multiple blocks of the Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway.
Officers did not find a suspect or a victim of the shooting near the casings.

According to the Alameda police, a light-colored sedan and a dark SUV were seen traveling eastbound on Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway at a high rate of speed and may be connected to the shooting.
