Alameda Power Bills: COVID-19 Assistance

Alameda Municipal Power is helping businesses that have fallen behind on bills because of the coronavirus pandemic.

ALAMEDA, CA — Has your business fallen behind on its power bill in Alameda? Restaurants, salons, gyms, and more were hit hard by coronavirus pandemic closures and stay-at-home orders.

Alameda Municipal Power is offering a payment plan to help businesses catch up with their bills while keeping their utility accounts in good standing.

"The past-due amount is spread out over a specified period of time—this amount is called a monthly installment," AMP said in a message to the community. "Customers are required to pay the agreed-upon monthly installment, in addition to paying their current utility charges in full, by the bill due-date each month."
