OAKLAND, CA — A woman who died when she fell from a ramp after she was involved in a crash on Interstate Highway 80 in Oakland on Wednesday night was identified by the Alameda County coroner's bureau today as 41-year-old Melody Mendenhall of Alameda.
The California Highway Patrol said Mendenhall fell after she was involved in a crash on the westbound Highway 80 transition ramp to southbound Interstate Highway 880 shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday.
