APD Warns to Lock Windows, Doors After Spike in Evening Burglaries
Small electronic items and jewelry have been targeted during these burglaries from the past two weekends.

Alameda Police Department released a recent community warning for residents to lock their doors and windows because evening burglaries have increased these past two weekends.
The burglaries occur between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m., according to the release. Small electronic items and jewelry have been targeted during these burglaries. APD suggests that residents lock them up safely in a secure place.
