Child Safety Seat Inspection In Alameda Saturday

Habitot Children's Museum is hosting a child safety seat inspection this Saturday in Alameda at 1555 Oak Street from 10 AM-12PM.

ALAMEDA, CA - From the Habitot Children's Museum: Habitot Children’s Museum is hosting a child safety seat inspection this Saturday in Alameda at 1555 Oak Street from 10 AM-12PM. Trained technicians will install and/or inspect child safety seats. This event is offered with support from retired police officer, Bob Rollins, and the City of Alameda Police Department. State Farm is proud to support this and other Habitot Children’s Museum safety events throughout the year.

Car crashes remain a leading cause of death for children and inspection events like this help reduce the number of unintentional accidents among very young children. This is a great opportunity to alert the community to this service and educate the public about the proper installation and use of child safety seats. Sadly, even today, most child safety seats are improperly installed and used. Informative visuals and interviews are available.
