Community Meeting to Discuss Fire Station 3 Architectural Design

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 9 at at Mastick Senior Center (1155 Santa Clara Avenu) from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

From the City of Alameda

Last summer, the City of Alameda worked with community members to begin the long-term project for a modern Fire Station and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to replace the old Fire Station 3, near the corner of Buena Vista Avenue and Grand Street.

Over three community meetings, there was consensus on how to lay out the building structures at the property — taking traffic, visual, and noise concerns into account.

The City now invites community members back for a fourth meeting, to focus on potential designs for the new station and EOC.
