COVID Test Required To Start School In Alameda Next Week

In-class teaching will start at elementary schools on Monday, but students must take a COVID-19 test between March 5 and 14.

ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda elementary students will return to school for in-classroom instruction on Monday for the first time in a year. Before students will be allowed in the classroom, they must have taken a COVID test between March 5 and 14.

The tests are free and are administered at schools around town.

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are also allowed. Your child's testing location depends on which school they attend.

Alameda High School
March 11, 12
10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
March 13, 14
8:30 - 4:30 pm
for Edison, Bay Farm, Earhart, and Otis students
