On-duty Alameda firefighters are training today (Thursday) on Perimeter Road at Alameda Point, near the Estuary, according to an Alameda Fire Department announcement.
Training is expected to last until 3 p.m.
There will be occasional occurrences of smoke in the area due to the training, fire officials said.
If you see or smell smoke in other areas, or believe there may be an accidental fire, you should call 911, they said.
