Four Stabbed at Family Christmas Party
Some of the victims were taken to hospitals for treatment, but none of the wounds were considered life-threatening, according to Alameda Police.

A Christmas gathering at an Alameda home turned violent Tuesday night when one family member stabbed four others, an Alameda police sergeant said.
The stabbings were reported at 10:18 p.m. at a home in the 400 block of Willie Stargell Avenue, Alameda police Sgt. Jeff Emmitt said. The victims were three females and one male.

A female suspect was taken into custody at the home, Emmitt said.

Emmitt said it appears the family was gathered at the home when an argument began. At some point during the argument the suspect used either a kitchen or pocketknife to stab the four others, he said.
The case remains under investigation.
