Free Movies Near Jack London Waterfront This Summer

Jack London Square invites moviegoers to cozy up on the waterfront this summer for free outdoor screenings of hit movies, as part of the Square’s Waterfront Flicks series.

Waterfront Flicks will host fan favorites on Thursdays at sundown including The Dark Knight Rises, Life of Pi, Hitchcock, Brave, Skyfall and The Goonies.

Movie nights are set for the following days: June 13, June 27, July 1, July 25, Aug. 8 and Aug. 22.

From date night to family flick night, moviegoers can start their evenings early with dinner at one of Jack London Square’s waterfront restaurants, or pick-up a quick bite from one of the casual eateries to enjoy during the screening.

Moviegoers should arrive early with blankets in-hand for pre-film festivities including small eats, beer, trivia and giveaways.

All beer proceeds benefit the East Bay Bike Coalition.

Locals or visitors can bike, ferry or drive to Jack London Square.
