Holy, Moly Batman! "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" Crosses a Half-Billion Mark

Ben Affleck isn't so "Sad Affleck" anymore with his widely panned "Batman v Superman" taking in a half-billion-dollars in less than a week.

The "Batman V Superman - Sad Affleck" Youtube video mocking Ben Affleck's response to the the film's terrible reviews may have gotten 20 million viewers in less than a week, but he's getting the last laugh.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has crossed the half-billion-dollar mark at the worldwide box office despite the bad reviews. It only took five days, Warner Bros. officials announced Wednesday.

So far, the film earned $193.3 million domestically, and $308.6 million internationally.

"We're so proud that 'Batman v Superman' has become the must-see event film of the season for fans the world over," said Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, Warner Bros. president of worldwide distribution. "These incredible numbers are building momentum for not only this movie, but for the upcoming slate of DC Super Hero films."

The film, directed by Zack Snyder, stars Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman, along with Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
