Money and Politic$ in Alameda: Forum on Campaign Finance Reform Tonight

Robert Stern, co-author of the California Political Reform Act of 1974, is the featured speaker.

Robert Stern, who's been called "the godfather of modern political reform in California," is the featured speaker tonight (Thursday) at a League of Women Voters of Alameda forum on local campaign financing.

The free public forum, "Money and Politic$ in Alameda: Time for Local Campaign Finance Reform?," will begin at 7 p.m. at the Harbor Bay Isle Community Center, 3195 Mecartney Road, Alameda.

Also among the panelists are Whitney Barazoto, executive director of the City of Oakland's Public Ethics Commission, and Robert Gammon, co-editor of the weekly East Bay Express.
