Nearby Oakland DMV Office Now Open At 7 A.M. Most Days

ALAMEDA, CA — Going to the DMV office fuels nightmares for some people of long lines, hours-long waits and mounting frustration. The DMV hears you and is now opening the Oakland-Claremont office at 7 a.m. four days a week to allow you to check that errand off your to-do list before you even get to work. Only on Wednesday will the office continue to open at 9 a.m.

Other East Bay offices that observe the new 7 a.m. opening are Fremont and El Cerrito.
