Police In-Custody Death Town Hall Meeting Friday

ALAMEDA, CA —The Alameda mayor's office will hold a Town Hall meeting via Zoom this Friday, to update the community on the death of Mario Gonzalez.

City Manager Eric Levitt and Alameda Police Department representatives will participate.

Scheduled topics include the latest on Gonzalez' death; mental health responses to 911 calls; the police accountability and civilian oversight board; and community outreach by the police department.

The meeting will be held from 11:10 to 11:50 a.m. on Friday.
