Too Close To Call: Alameda City Council Election Results
All in-person and mail-in ballots have been counted through Tuesday, but ballots that arrive by mail could alter the results.

ALAMEDA, CA — The Alameda City Council election proves the phrase, "Every vote counts."
The top two vote-getters will win seats on the City Council. With every ballot tallied that has been received through Tuesday, the vote is razor-thin between second and third place. Ballots that arrive in the coming days will be counted and could flip the results.

Alameda County had a surplus of volunteers for this election. "We had 4,800 people volunteer for the four days; so we have plenty of volunteers," said Tim Dupuis, Alameda County's registrar of voters.
