Reported Gas Leak Under Investigation

A gas leak was reported this morning in Alameda and residents are
being advised to avoid the area until further notice, fire officials said.

The Alameda Fire Department reported the leak shortly after 10:20
a.m. in the area of Fifth Street and Mitchell Avenue, near a Target store.
No other information about the leak was immediately available this
morning.
