Rita's Celebrates In Alameda With $1 Italian Ice, $2 Custard

ALAMEDA, CA – Rita's Italian Ice will mark its Alameda store opening with an official ribbon-cutting and deals on its frozen treats on Saturday, Sept. 1.

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., customers at the Alameda South Shore Center locale can enjoy $1 Italian Ice and $2 Frozen Custard, plus be entered into a raffle to win free Italian Ice for a year.

In addition, monetary donations will be accepted for Girls Inc., a nonprofit that serves girls from 6 to 18, company officials said.

Rita’s of Alameda, which opened its doors in June, also sells milkshakes, sundaes, frozen custard cakes, custard cookie sandwiches and layered gelati. Follow the company here on Facebook.
