ALAMEDA, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Relationship to nominee: She’s my daughter
Reason for recognition: My daughter is a strong woman, kindhearted, a giver, selfless, and generous. When the pandemic started, she saw how healthcare staff are having a hard time dealing with the chaos and fear for each of their love ones.
One thing to know: Since March, she had been donating home cooked meals to various hospitals here in the Bay Area. To this date, she had donated 2,000 meals and still counting. She also make meals to distribute to underserved communities and low income families in Livermore
