SJND Girls' Volleyball Goes for NCS Gold Tonight — Boys' Cross Country in Championships Today

The two top-seeded teams in NCS (North Coast Section) Division 5 girls' volleyball go head to head tonight for the championship as Alameda's St. Joseph Notre Dame High School takes on #1 Branson School at 7 p.m. at the College of Marin.

Second seed SJND entered the playoffs with a 27-8 record for the season and has defeated Fremont Christian, the College Preparatory School and SF University High in earlier playoff rounds.

In a second NCS championship today, the SJND boys' cross-country team will compete in division V in Hayward, with races beginning at 8:30 a.m. Read more about the top-rated SJND team's chances in this article from the Bay Area News Group.
