Showing even more versatility as an artist, Snoop Dogg released a reggae album in 2012 under the name of Snoop Lion. The album “Reincarnated” is full of Jamaican influence and is an about-face from his usual rapping style. He went back to his Snoop Dogg name in 2015, releasing the album “Bush,” followed in 2016 with his 14th solo studio album titled “Coolaid.” In 2018, Snoop surprised his fans by releasing “Bible of Love,” a gospel album that has garnered a great deal of attention.
It’s always exciting to see an artist with such exceptional talent perform. One of the reasons for Snoop Dogg’s success is a voice that stands distinctly out from the rest. “Rolling Stone” magazine once wrote that “Snoop's vocal style is part of what distinguishes him: where many rappers scream, figuratively and literally, he speaks softly.” Seeing Snoop on tour solidifies why this rapper is still selling out shows.
