First 5 Alameda County has moved to a new office in Marina Square.
The public entity was created by passage of Proposition 10 in 1998 which added fifty cents per pack of cigarettes to help fund early care and education for children ages 0-5, according to its website.
It plans to hold an open house Thursday, May 23 from 12 to 2 p.m. at its new location 1115 Atlantic Avenue.
