The flight started in Guadalajara and was bound for San Francisco International Airport but was diverted to OAK because of foggy conditions at SFO. Once in Oakland, it sat on a tarmac for several hours, and the passengers were reportedly not given food or water.
After the unruly passengers were removed, the plane was finally assigned to a gate. The plane pulled up to the gate around 3:30 p.m., 5 hours after it was supposed to land in San Francisco.
