Victim Shot Multiple Times at AMF Bowling, Car Drives into Estuary and Arson on Encinal
Incidents highlighted here were recorded in the Alameda Police Department log from March 7 to March 10. Information was supplied by the police and does not indicate any convictions.

Thursday, March 7
- 8:34 a.m.: A vehicle burglary was reported on the 1000 block of Taylor Avenue. An unknow suspect entered the victim's locked vehicle and took items without permission.
Friday, March 8
- 7:57 a.m.: Auto theft was reported on the 1700 block of Pacific Avenue. An unknown suspect broke a window to a victim's vehicle and stole it.
- 1:05 p.m.: A vehicle burglary was reported on the 1400 block of Oak Street. A suspect broke the victim's vehicle to gain entry, took items and fled.
- 12:54 p.m.: Grand theft was reported on the 2200 block of South Shore Center. An unknown suspect stole money from the business' safe.
- 1:19 p.m.: Arson was reported on the 2200 block of Encinal Avenue. The contents of a trash can caught fire by unknown means.
- 11:12 p.m.: An assault with a weapon was reported at the 300 block of Park Street. A victim was shot multiple times with a firearm at AMF Bowling. According to Lt. Ted Horlbeck, the victim sustained three non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to the arm, upper thigh and groin. During some "exchange" between the two at the bowling alley, the suspect then pulled out a gun Horlbeck said. The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 20 to 25 and was wearing dark clothing.

- 8:02 a.m.: Identity theft was reported at 9 Redondo Court. An unknown suspect used a victim's personal information without permission to pay for items online.
- 8:23 a.m.: Auto theft was reported on the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
- 11:26 p.m.: A hit-and-run misdemeanor was reported on the 2000 block of Grand Street. A car drove into the estuary but no one was found inside. Items were booked into APD Property as evidence. Click here to get more details on this case.
Sunday, March 10
- 8:18 a.m.: A commercial burglary was reported on the 500 block of Viking Street. An unknown suspect made a forced entry into a vacant commercial building.
- 2:58 p.m.: Auto theft was reported on the 2300 block of Buena Vista Avenue.
- 1:55 p.m.: Rape was reported on Lincoln Avenue. Someone reported that a 21-year-old raped their 13-year-old daughter.
