Wind Advisory Issued For San Francisco Bay Shoreline: NWS

Potential hazards include downed trees and limbs; localized power outages; and unsecured objects blowing around.

EAST BAY, CA — The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory from 6 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday for most coastal locations.

Gusty winds from the west to northwest will develop behind a cold front on Sunday, according to the weather service. Wind gusts could reach 45 mph.

The advisory affects the coastal North Bay, San Francisco, the San Francisco Bay shoreline, the San Francisco Peninsula Coast and the Monterey County Coast.
