OAKLAND, CA — AAA Northern California is giving away 500 free child booster seats this Saturday at the Safe Kids Day at Oracle Arena.
You must pre-register to receive the booster seats. The seats are for "Children at least 5 years old that weigh between 50 – 100 pounds and are between 40 – 57 inches tall. Additionally, the family must live in Alameda County, meet the applicable income threshold and have the child(ren) and vehicle present at the event to install the booster seat(s)."
The deadline to register for the free booster seats is Wednesday.

In addition to the free booster seats, 500 free bike helmets will be distributed, and there will also be free dental screenings and oral health education, fun games, a climbing wall, bike rodeo and more free prizes.
