Albany Holiday Giving Drive Underway

ALBANY, CA — With Thanksgiving over, many local residents have already turned their attention to preparations for Christmas, Hanukkah and other December holidays and festivals.

To make sure the holiday season is cheerful for everyone, collection bins have been set up at the Albany Community Center through the month of December.

Organizers are specifically seeking coats, canned food and toys.

Donated items will be given to the Alameda County Community Food Bank and the Bay Area Rescue Mission.
