Albany Middle School Stages Alice in Wonderland, JR.

Come one, come all to the AMS production of Alice in Wonderland Jr.! Shows will be on May 17th-19th at 7pm, and there will be a May 20th show at 2pm. Each showing will be performed at the AHS Little Theater, general admission is $10, and children ages 3 and under are free. In case you’ve never heard of Alice in Wonderland, here’s a description of the show from our lovely director (plus history, English, and drama teacher) Ms. Penney!
“Based on Lewis Carroll’s classic children’s story and the very popular Disney animated film, in this 60-minute staged musical version of Alice in Wonderland, the ever-curious Alice’s journey begins innocently enough as she chases the White Rabbit. Her adventures become increasingly more strange as she races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!”

-Elizabeth Davidson and Colette Kolodny as Tall Alice and Small Alice, respectively
-Abby Siecienski, Aviva Branoff, and Connor/Katie Taylor-Brennan as the 3 Cheshire Cats
-Ellis Hampton as the White Rabbit
-Isabel Garcia-Larkin as the Mad Hatter
-Ava Nemeth as the Caterpillar
-Astral Lim as the Dodo Bird
-Aubrey Fontenot as the March Hare
-Tatiana Lira (me!) as the Queen of Hearts
_Ryan Albee-Good as the King of Hearts
- David King-Casemiro and Rune Miller-Marcus as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum
