Albany Shooting Under Investigation
The victim told police he was shot while walking on Solano Avenue on Sunday.
ALBANY, CA —Albany police are investigating a shooting Sunday afternoon on Solano Avenue.
A man entered a business on Solano about 4:35 p.m. and said he had been shot while walking near the crest of the hill on Solano, a residential area in the 800 block.
Albany police and fire units responded and located the man, a Vallejo resident, who was alert and conscious and suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Paramedics took him to Highland Hospital in Oakland, where he was being treated, police said in an announcement Monday.
The victim identified a person he knows as a possible suspect, police said.
