East Bay Armed Robbery Suspect Sought
The incident occurred on April 7 according to police.
EL CERRITO, CA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating an El Cerrito armed robbery suspect, police said.
Shortly after 6 p.m. on April 7 officers responded to the report of an armed robbery reported by the victim, police said.
The victim was walking in the area of San Pablo and Bayview avenues when he had his camera ripped from his shoulder from behind by an unknown suspect, police said.

The suspect fled with two accomplices westbound onto Bayview Avenue according to police.
The suspect pulled a handgun, pointed at the victim and threatened him after the victim tried to chase the suspect and his accomplices, police said.

The El Cerrito Police Department is circulating photos of the suspect and his accomplices.
The suspect is the person on the left wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants, police said. The two others are his accomplices.
