Local Girls Win National Baseball Tournament

11U Division Champions in the Baseball for All National Tournament

The East Bay Hurricanes all girls competitive travel baseball team, secures the 11U Baseball for All National Championship title against the LA Monarchs.

This is the first time a Bay Area team has won the BFA Nationals 11U bracket. The second national title to be brought back to the Bay Area! The first time a national title was won, was by the SF Bay Sox 18U team in 2017. The Hurricanes went undefeated in the tournament.

The team is comprised of young girls representing various areas of the bay; Sacramento, Vacaville, Fairfield, Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Berkeley, Oakland, Alameda, San Leandro and Hayward.

They are passionate about breaking the barriers of entry for girls in baseball. Thousands of girls are told every year, they can't play baseball. These girls are proving they can!

The team participates in local, regional & national tournaments. They go up against all boys teams, co-ed teams and other all girls teams. They have received criticism, doubts and negativity along their journey but that has yet to stop them. Their desire to play only fuels them to push themselves harder in every game.
