Saint Mary's Graduates 164

The Class of 2019 and Class of 1969 shared graduation events.

The 164 members of the Saint Mary's High Class of 2019 gathered for a number of major graduation-related activities in early June. On Saturday evening, June 1, the seniors and family members attended the annual Baccalaureate Mass in the auditorium, celebrated by Father Jayson Landeza ’79, local fire and police Chaplain, whose own class will mark forty years since graduation this fall. The traditional Presentation of the Seniors to the Student Body took place on Monday, June 3, preceded by the Senior Breakfast hosted by the Junior Class parents. With graduation still a few days off, the senior trip to Great America on June 4 provided some fun and relaxation, and on June 6, the seniors received diplomas and honors at Commencement Exercises at Zellerbach Hall on the Cal campus. The seniors of the Class of 2019 have been accepted to 198 colleges and universities, including fourteen Cal State University campuses and all nine campuses in the University of California system. We wish them Godspeed in their new educational endeavors, close to home or far away. Panthers forever!

Members of the Saint Mary's High Class of 1969 joined the seniors for the June 1 Baccalaureate Mass, followed by a 50-year reunion dinner with spouses in the Shea Center. They also enjoyed a barbecue with Saint Mary’s Gold Club members (men who graduated fifty years ago and more) on campus on Sunday, June 2. The '69 group included: Randy Andrada, James Andrews, Thomas Barrett, Harold Berberian, Mario Busalacchi, Robert Cain, Rich Curotto, John Freeman, Jeff Gray, Jim Kwok, Paul Larson, John McCarthy, John Milina, Gerald Notch, Chris Plummer, Ron Risi, Luigi Tinonga, Rich Wilson, and Ken Zanotto. Congratulations to All!

Saint Mary's sends graduation congratulations to all area seniors!
