'Shortest Triathlon Ever' Returns to Emeryville

Looking for a chance to get into shape without killing yourself? And you'll get to experience the same terrain as "The Incredibles!"

Not quite ready for the Ironman in Hawaii?

The 9th annual Shortest Triathlon Ever will feature a 100-yard swim in a warm swimming pool; a 2.5-mile bike ride on flat terrain through the city of Emeryville, made famous by the opening movie scene in Pixar's "The Incredibles;" and a 2.1-mile run past all of the retail shops on Bay Street. Even couch potatoes can manage that!

Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Trophies will go to top male and Female Overall and Masters finishes. In addition, medals will be awarded three-deep to both men and women: 13 and under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
