Aliso Viejo Business Operations Update

These closures are as of July 1 and will remain in place for at least 3 weeks.

The State of California has ordered certain counties, including Orange County, to close all bars and some indoor business operations due to the increased risk of infection from COVID-19. The following business sectors are required to shut down all indoor operations, and must only continue to operate if their services can be modified to accommodate customers outside or by pick-up:

  • Restaurants
  • Wineries and tasting rooms
  • Movie theaters
  • Family entertainment centers (for examples: bowling alleys, miniature golf, batting cages and arcades)
  • Zoos and museums
  • Cardrooms

Please note: bars, breweries, pubs and brewpubs must close all operations even if they are operating outdoors.

The Orange County Health Care Agency has issued an amended health order in compliance with the State’s actions.

Aliso Viejo Businesses: In order to help businesses accommodate guests and meet State guidelines, the City is allowing our businesses to use common areas, parking lots, or public rights-of-way to continue offering their services while increasing social distancing measures.
