Aliso Viejo Christmas Tree Shopping Guide For 2020

Many local Christmas tree farmers are taking precautions amid the pandemic to ensure you and yours have a jolly holiday.

Aliso Viejo, CA — As the coronavirus pandemic threatens a long list of 2020’s iconic holiday traditions, it may still be possible to find the perfect Christmas tree for your family — and do it safely.

At least 25 million real Christmas trees are sold each year across America, and currently, 350 million are growing in all 50 U.S. states. During this unprecedented year, Christmas tree lots and choose-and-cut farms nationwide are taking precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic to ensure shoppers can select their perfect tree with minimal health and safety risk.

In fact, the National Christmas Tree Association has circulated a 2020 guide including recommendations and best practices for Christmas tree sellers to follow, including frequently sanitizing items such as hand saws and tree cart handles, as well as countertops, restrooms and other areas. An onsite "COVID-19 coordinator" and personal protective equipment for employees are also being encouraged.
