Aliso Viejo Little League All Stars Team Wins State Championship

ALISO VIEJO, CA — The Aliso Viejo Little League has claimed the SoCal Division Three Championship with a 5-1 victory over Sweetwater Valley of Bonita, according to the league. This was the Aliso Viejo Little League's second state championship, they told Patch.

"The 11 year old Aliso Viejo All Star team won the Southern California State Championship, going 13-1 this summer and winning 3 tournaments," the league said. "This was the league's 2nd State Championship win, which also has 3 state runner up finishes."

Parents filled the stands and shared their victory across social media.

The boys, in the age 9-11-years-old group this year, hope that three times will be the charm next year.

With a third State Championship, they could advance to Western Regionals for a go at the Little League World Series.
