Approaching Storm Brings 100% Chance of Rain Friday

A cold Pacific storm is approaching the area, bringing with it increasing clouds and a high today near 59, according to the National Weather Service. 

There is a 50 percent chance of rain tonight in Aliso Viejo, mainly after 11 p.m. The low tonight is expected to be around 50.

On Friday, rain is sure thing, with thunderstorms and small hail possible after 11 a.m., forecasters say.  It will be windy, with guests as high as 20 mph. The chance of rain drops to 50 percent Friday night, when the low will fall to around 47.

The sun will return to Aliso Viejo on Saturday, forecasters say, when the area will see a high near 60.
