'Exciting Possibilities' for Change in Aliso Viejo
The public is invited to attend the General Plan update workshop in March to discuss city changes and growth.

Along with the addition of the Green City Initiative, the city's General Plan could be updated with some "exciting possibilities" this year, according to Albert Armijo, director of planning services.
While Armijo was unable to provide specific details at this time, residents are invited to attend the 2012 General Plan update workshop in March to discuss how the city will change and grow through 2035. This will be the first of many General Plan workshops.
The City of Aliso Viejo's General Plan was adopted in 2004. The city has changed a lot since then and the plan updates are meant to reflect the growth, as well as meet state legal requirements.
