Interviewing and Resumes for Success: Free Workshop for High School Students
Help for students who want to be prepared for summer jobs and college admission interviews!
Students can learn tips on how to ace interviews and write a winning high school resume in a free workshop sponsored by The Write Direction. In the workshop, students will:
- Participate in mock interviews
- Practice a business handshake
- Learn professional etiquette and job hunting tips
- Find out what to wear (and not to wear) on interviews
- Begin writing a student resume

Monday, April 3 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Orange County Public Library, 30902 La Promesa, Rancho Santa Margarita. Please register in advance by emailing Cindy Sherwood at csherwood@thewritedirection.org. The Write Direction is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Tax ID #81-4316251. We also provide free and reduced cost assistance to students who are writing essays for college admissions or scholarship applications.
