Update: Khloe Kardashian's Elephant Missing in Dana Point
A gold elephant and five others went missing Tuesday morning.
Editor's note: The elephants have apparently been moved to L.A. Live at Nokia Plaza, where they will be displayed through Friday.
Six life-sized painted baby elephant statues on public display in Dana Point went missing overnight, including one decorated by the Kardashians, Elephant Parade PR firm Blaze announced Tuesday morning.
The gold elephant statue "Jasmine," decorated by Khloe Kardashian, was among those missing.
Other missing statues can be seen in the photos above.
The elephants were among a collection of 83 statues to be auctioned off on Nov. 17 to fund The Asian Elephant Foundation.
Chelsea Hartnett of Blaze PR posted the original notice of the elephants' disappearance. She said Tuesday afternoon that she could not confirm the nature of the elephants' disappearance.
Hartnett said her client, the Elephant Parade organization, could not be reached Tuesday to confirm the elephant's disappearance.
Blaze PR has been publicizing the Dana Point event, which is raising public awareness about the increasingly endangered Asian elephant, whose habitat is threatened by human population growth.
