Las Vegas Shooting: Aliso Viejo Man Killed In Massacre

Aliso Viejo resident was killed in the Las Vegas mass shooting event on Sunday.

ALISO VIEJO, CA — Victor Link was enjoying the Route 91 Harvest Festival concert with his fiance, Lynne Gonzales and longtime friends, Rob and Lesley Wedlock, when he was shot and killed during the Jason Aldean concert on Sunday. He was 55-years-old.

Lynne was not wounded in the attack.

According to friends, Link loved traveling, snowboarding, golfing, cooking and wine tasting.

Victor was originally from Kern County, and moved to southern California 25 years ago where he worked in the mortgage industry. He leaves behind his fiance Lynne Gonzales and his 25-year-old son, Christian, whom he adopted and his family and friends.

"He was the best dad any son could ever have," his son, Christian said of him, the Las Vegas Review Journal said.

“Victor was a loving fiance, proud father, loyal son, protective brother, supportive uncle and kind friend. We wish to express our gratitude to all that have helped contribute to Victor’s extraordinary life. Whether you were a relative, friend, or neighbor, you we’re all a part of making his life so meaningful,” a statement released by Link's family said.
