Rental and Utility Assistance Available

Homeless, Eviction, Rental, Utility, Help

Irvine, CA----South County Outreach is currently accepting calls for households in the city limits of Rancho Santa Margarita or Aliso Viejo with an eviction or shut-off notice that are in need of rental and utility assistance payment assistance to avoid eviction or utility shut-off.

To receive assistance, call our rental and utility line (949-380-8144 ext. 209). The rental and utility line opens up on the first of each month at midnight. The message line stays open until funds are depleted for the month. Calls are returned in the order in which they were received. To receive assistance the household must have an eviction or shut-off.

If you are in the situation, where either you have to make the hard decision to pay bills or buy food, South County Outreach offers free food through its Food Pantry, open to qualifying south Orange County residents. Households may come in once a month to receive a weeks’ worth of food. Households need to provide proof of income, proof of address, and identification. For questions or more information, visit sco-oc.org or call 949-380-8144.
