Residents Ask For Help To Find Missing Dog

Kona, a 7-month-old German shepherd, boxer, miniature pinscher mix, was last seen Thursday morning near the 73 Toll Road and Aliso Viejo Parkway.

Kona weights approximately 22-pounds and has the body of a miniature pinscher with the coat and ears of a German shepherd. He has a black spot on the tip of his tail and a mole on the right side of his mouth.

He is wearing a New England Patriots collar with his identification.

Aliso Viejo Community Association President Ross Chun told Patch that he saw Kona on Wednesday around noon running down Pacific Park Drive. Chun said the dog spent a long time running down the center of the lane, running as fast as the cars driving around him. Kona made a left hand turn onto Aliso Creek Road. By the time Chun stopped, trying to catch the dog, he was already gone.
