Newhart Middle School Earth Day Celebration

Where/When: Newhart Middle School, 25001 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo; Friday April 20, 5 to 7 p.m.
Why:
To drive a submersible vehicle, fire a cannon and launch paper rockets. Join local partners Savannah’s Organic Ranch and Eco-Stride in celebrating the Earth in Mission Viejo. Participate in hands-on science experiences and silent auction.

Participate in happy earth related activities like a rummage sale with clothing, furniture and toys; car show with raffle; eWaste disposal, click here for a list of accepted items; free document shredding from 9 a.m. to noon; activities for kids; a bake sale;  and live music.
Price: Free to attend; $20 to enter your car in the show.
