For the newly formed 32nd District, which includes Baldwin Park, Congresswoman Grace Napolitano (D-Santa Fe Spring) will face runner-up David Miller a Republican and Real Estate developer, in the November general election.

At the state level, residents will vote for candidates to the new 48th Assembly district seat where there are two candidates vying to represent it: Joe Gardner and incumbent Roger Hernandez.

With 11 state measures on a crowded ballot, the propositions with the most attention are Proposition 30 and 38, both proposing increased funding for education through higher taxes.
