Baldwin Park Police Seek Suspect in Purse Snatching

A woman arriving to work was robbed of a purse on Wednesday morning, according to the San Gabriel Vally Tribune.

Baldwin Park Police are asking for the public's help to catch an unknown suspect involved in an alleged robbery that ocurred on Wednesday morning, as reported by the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

According to the newspaper, at approximately 9 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 14400 block of Merced Avenue, close to the Walmart Supercenter in response to a report that a robber snatched a purse from a woman as she was arriving for work. 

The assailant did not injured the woman. He was described as a male and Latino, wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, a baseball cap and blue jeans, according to the newspaper report.
