Baldwin Park Teen Arrested On Suspicion of Vandalizing a Santa Monica Restaurant
The 18-year old man, was charged with vandalism and public intoxication. Bail was set at $20,000.

A teenager from Baldwin Park was arrested in Santa Monica after damaging the glass front of a popular restaurant in the Santa Monica Pier, as well as for being intoxicated in public, reported the Santa Monica Mirror.
The incident ocurred on March 9, at 12:40 a.m. according to Santa Monica Police Department.
That day, witness told Police they had just seen a man who appeared to be scratching words into the glass frontage of Pier Burger, reported the Mirror.

After confirming the scratches on the glass, officers spotted an 18-year-old man that matched the description of the suspect leaving the parking lot in a Chevrolet Tahoe, according to the weekly newspaper.Â
Police went on to conduct a traffic stop and found the the suspect, who was a passenger in the vehicle, who was both intoxicated and in possesion of an etching tool.

The  resident of Baldwin Park was charged with vandalism, and public intoxication. Bail was set at $20,000, and  the damage to the glass was estimated to be around $700.
The police did not identify the suspect.
