Citrus College Announces Registration Dates for Summer 2013 Sessions

The college has doubled the number of class sections being offered during the summer session.  This means that prospective students have even more reason to take those first steps toward achieving academic and personal success.

Classes are filling up fast!  To obtain a registration appointment, new and former students must submit their applications as soon as possible by using www.cccapply.org.  Applications will be processed and registration can occur within 48 hours of submitting an application.

Registration for Summer Session 2013 began May 20, but will continue through June 23.  Classes begin Monday, June 24. Late registration and program changes for many courses will take place through June 26. Students are encouraged to check Summer Deadline Dates 2013 for a complete list of course deadlines.

“New students, especially those who have recently graduated from high school, are encouraged to enroll in summer session,” said Dr. Geraldine M. Perri, superintendent/president of Citrus College.  “This summer, Citrus College is placing a strong emphasis on general education and basic skills courses.  At the same time, new students who attend classes during the summer will have greater priority when registering in the fall.”

The upcoming fall semester, which will begin on August 24, will also provide students with greater opportunity to pursue their academic goals.

“Similar to this summer, Citrus College’s Fall Semester 2013 will have significantly more class sections,” said Mrs. Susan M. Keith, president of the Citrus Community College District Board of Trustees.  “Our goal is to fill every available seat.”
