Reward Considered for Information in Shooting at K&C Alta Dena Dairy

Baldwin Park City council could announce a reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

The Baldwin Park City Council will weigh up tonight whether to offer a reward for any information leading to the arrest of a gunman who shot and wounded a clerk during an attempted robbery of a store in Baldwin Park.

Councilmember Ricardo Pacheco, told Patch he will be requesting the reward during Wednesday city council meeting.

"I am not sure how much, but sometimes is about five thousand dollars,", said Pacheco.

According to the Police, on Wednesday March 26 around 7:30 p.m., a store clerk suffered a graze wound to the chest after an armed man tried to rob him at the  K & C Alta Dena Dairy.

The suspect fired one shot into the air then fired another round that struck the clerk. The suspect fled the location and the clerk was transported to a local hospital.

"I hope this will encourage people, if they have information to bring it to the Police," added Pacheco.

According to the councilmember, the city has offered rewards in the past for different crimes.

Police has said that anyone with information about the suspect can call Baldwin Park police at (626) 960-1955.
