Coroner IDs Baldwin Park Shooting Victim
A 21-year-old man was shot and killed earlier this week in Baldwin Park.

BALDWIN PARK, CA — Authorities identified the young man who was killed in a shooting in Baldwin Park Tuesday. A young boy was injured in the shooting, police said.
Baldwin Park police went to the 15000 block of Olive Street about 9 p.m. Tuesday on an assault call, said Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which was assisting Baldwin Park police with the investigation.
Kristian Gonzalez Valladares, 21, died at the scene, the coroner's office reported.

The boy, whose name was withheld, was wounded in the upper body and was hospitalized. Information was not released on the age of the wounded boy, his condition, or on the relationship, if any, between him and the fatally wounded man.
